I read about the TRX trainer (www.fitnessanywhere.com) in a recent issue of United's magazine Hemispheres. Just ordered one--anyone else use it to train when they're on the road? Advice, caveats, etc. most welcome, thanks!

I don't have one. I was thinking about getting one. I think the main concern would be finding something to attach it to. Obviously you can go to a park and wrap it around a low hanging tree branch or to some playground equipment. But trying to use it in your hotel room could be a challenge.

If you want to use it at your hotel, make sure you buy the door attachment. I have it, and I use it at the gym and for my clients as well. Love that thing!

And I'm a fan! This thing is great for traveling--thanks for the good advice! And xrichx, the door anchor works just fine--hard to do side lunges in the narrow space you usually get in the hotel room, but I was still able to work up a decent sweat with it.
