whats the best cardio plan if your....

    trying to build muscle but also melt some fat arond your stomache. i lift every other day alternating muscle groups and i am building muscle and i have a good diet but cardio is what is confusing me. i hear that cardio on the same day u lift wont let u build much but i dont want to not do any cardio and keep this pudge around my mid section. is there a happy medium?

    It's up to you to find that happy medium. I run and lift on the same days. But if I run too much, my gym workouts suffer. Or if I lift too much, then my running sucks. And I'm talking about real running, not treadmill running.

    If gaining muscle mass is a priority for you, then you might want to look into adding HIIT to your routine.
