I want to hear your voice on the phone or even better, in person. Pick up the phone and talk to me. Stop hiding behind text messaging and emails.

No amount of typing or intelligent sentence construction or one word "hot" responses can give me an idea if i like you.

And to whom is this directed? All of us? Or to selected RJ members who have been contacting you?

It's directed at anyone, anywhere who has forgotten the art of live communication and personal interaction.

This constant moralizing is like listening to Sarah Palin. Nobody else is authentic, genuine, or valid. ... ... Everybody else is disingenuous, artificial, a fraud! .

Caslon You are SO right. Not to fault KissingPro in particular, but every day I log in to RJ there seems to be at least one thread of this genre! And, if not a thread, moralizing responses on every topic from home workout gyms to diet to abs to trimming toenails. Why have gay men become so grumpy?

lol..can relate to an extent-

I like to talk to a person to know them better. But in the case of my boyfriend and I, and our phone plans that charge against our anytime minutes during the day, but do not charge against our texting, as long as we stick within our limits...

If we did not have texting, we would lose contact with each other, as he lives 75 miles from me. And often, if he is having a bad day, he does not want to talk and bring me down. But he can still connect with me by text, and keep what is bothering him away from me..unless he decides to share, which he more often than not, does.

I thank god for the modern convenience of texting, to stay in better touch with those that I love. I don't know what I did before I got my texting plan, and would not wish to be without it-

Damn whipper snappers with their intranets and their text massases.... tubes and wires and such

jk Sorry couldn't resist... but yeah I agree... kinda taken away the whole personal aspect of interacting with someone and getting to know them... the value of looking in someone's eyes is very underrated.

Could not agree with you more!

If I get texts...I simply call the person and tell them to pick up the phone and cut out the texting for once. I can understand if you are unable to talk and want to send a quick message. But hell, it drives me crazy! I love a good conversation and yes, I love to look into someone's eyes and really get to know them.

Damn me for being a personable guy
