WildPrince saidI'd be more worried about his gross lack of concern for the environment, and his government's financial support for the Alberta tar sands at the expense of alternative energy funding.
Then again, it doesn't seem like the recent G8 meeting in Italy amounted to much commitment from ANY leaders on effectively addressing the climate change dilemma.
IvesCardin08 saidBreaking bread and Drinking of the Wine (wafer & grape juice...aka. broken body and spilled blood of Christ) is Communion in the Christian Faith. We remember his sacrifice for our eternal lives by this tradition. He taught us to do this and intern we remember him. I think it's beautiful and peaceful.
We are not to partake in the consumption of either if we do not believe in Christ or if we are defiant and/or rebellious in our spirit or lifestyle. (basically not living/or trying to live the life Jesus wanted us to live: love, forgiveness, honesty, etc.).
There have been MANY times in my life where I felt, as communion was being passed, that I should not partake in consumption, and its perfectly natural. You just do not partake and instead work on what sin or troubles you are involved in so that later you can commit to communion with the lord.
I'm confused by 2 things however in this video.
1) Why is this national news in my country and why do people care? WE HAVE BIGGER THINGS TO WORRY ABOUT....*cough economy cough* and therefore I don't get the point of this post either. Is he a bad prime minister because he doesn't want communion? Again- Who cares.........That's between him/god/his beliefs. Leave the man be in his personal life. Worry about his political views.
2) Why is my Prime Minister even reaching his hand out for the bread to later not even want it. That is odd and has nothing to do with religion.
WHAT WE NEED TO DO AS CANADIANS IS WONDER WHY THIS IS STILL HAPPENING IN OUR COUNTRY IN 2009 INSTEAD!!!!!! This pisses me off soooo much- I want to fight the 3 myself!
