Used to be a gymnast. Really want to get back into it.

LOVED the rings. They were really easy for me and I caught on quick.
The Pomell horse was fun too though difficult.

It's hard to get back into it but not impossible.

I left at age 12 and went back into it at age 16.

It was hard as hell to get back to my old level but I did it.

You should give it a try!

I have always LOVED gymnastics. Even as a little boy I was doing kart wheels and flips in the back yard for hours. I was more of a tumbler in my gymnastics days...still do love flipping and showing off. More recently, I have coached gymnastics for a while. I don't think people have any clue what a difficult sport it is, and how demanding it is on your body.

Haha yea I had been in recovery from a back injury for a year and a half now ... funny thing is I didn't feel it but it actually made my spin start to curve to the right ... I actually just finished my recovery a month ago! Waiting a bit till I get back to the gym! Its not smart to rush back to what I was doing (5 days of all around gymnastics, 3 days of workouts at gold's gym and 1 spin class every week)

Wished i was a gymnast. I always admired the way their bodies developed, not too bulky, not too lean, well proportioned. And flexible!

I was a gymnast, but not anymore. Too many injuries for me, and have started on my surgeries lol.

i was a gymnast for several years before transitioning into dance and yoga. my favorite events were floor and vault. i was okay at pommel horse and parallel bars. my two worst were high bar and rings - i was always very short, and being up so high was scary to me. they set everything at either a standardized height, or adjusted for the tall guys, and that's why i felt uncomfortable on all the apparati. i liked vault and floor because i could use the space around me in a way that fit my stature.

Just a casual fan, but always marvel at it. I just feel it is among the most challenging sports and yet among the ones with least recognition.

The bodies the sport produces remind me of Greek athletes. I could watch them all day.

I enjoy all aparatus, but I think my favorite is the rings.

I compete still (even though my body wishes otherwise) for the University of Minnesota. Go Gophers.

You need to post more gymnastics pics, Reich.

I've got some from the Big-10 championship meet in Ann Arbor last spring.
Wonder if you're in any of them.

(Sigh, I'm good at taking pictures, but not so good at organizing them.)

I'm a diver (duh) and I started gymnastics when my NCAA eligibility ran out. Nothing too serious, but I spend a lot of time on the rod floor and the tramp (naturally lol). Just started trying standing back full

I still teach and practice gymnastics, along with various circus events. I'm actually also recovering from a hip and sciatic nerve injury. Ouchie...
