Now there are Snuggies in "designer" colors: leopard and zebra. Just saw my first TV commercial for them.

In case PTSD effects from the first Snuggie version has caused your mind to block them out, these are basically oversized robes of fleece material that you wear backwards. Gays with heart conditions and nervous disorders are advised not to take this link:

If you listen closely, they mention snuggies in the song. icon_wink.gif

I bought one of the original plain colored ones as a gag gift, that's what I took it as (especially w/ that book light, lol).

It always makes me laugh though.

Designer Snuggies!?! I'm afraid leopard and zebra are only considered "designer" patterns in sections of New Jersey and Queens.

It's awful! It's bad enough to hear that some folks are making public snuggies parties but now designer ones? I shudder at the thought of "bling" snuggies.

I think the new designs are intended to appeal to the much underserved dumb white trash demographic.

I can't wait to find one and don't care how it looks. My house is only heated to 14 degrees celcius( around 56 F) in the winter.

My comfort is worth more than fashion.icon_cool.gif

All you have to do is take a robe and put it on backwards... and this is considered revolutionary?!

I love how in the commercial they say you can bring this to a sporting event!!! Do you want to get beat up?

I did see this interesting report about how these types of products were able to buy the prime commercial airtime at a heavily discounted price, right after the crash of the housing market and foreclosure mess.

The car companies were out, so a product like Snuggies and the all favorite Ped Egg got huge exposure at this time. I'm guilty of buying the Ped Egg-lol! icon_redface.gif

I'm just waiting for my Louis Vuitton Snuggie ...

    Prada Fruit Roll Ups ...

    Fendi Cheerios ...

    and Aussiebum Dunk-a-Roos.

I have no idea how Snuggie relates to food aside from me expressing

the ludicrous nature of this topic. haha.
