    Hi everyone,

I wonder if anyone knows an acceptable substitute for a protein shake for a post-workout meal? I'm out of town for a couple weeks and don't think it's worth to buy an expensive tub of whey protein that I will not finish and won't be able to lug home. It doesn't have to be perfectly substitutable, just something that allows me to continue being able to do strength training. Thanks.

Go to a health food store. They probably have individual servings of Spirutein in packets. I know not many of us are hot on soy protein supplements, but you just need to get through a few days, they taste great, and they come in dozens of ridiculous flavors.
