I love to go to straight clubs with my friends. It always fun. But I swear that no matter where I go, I can anticipate hearing certain songs that I want retired from all deejay play lists. Those are:

    1) Sexyback by. Justin Timberlake. Yes deejay, I know. This song gets the ladies moving, but retire it. Enough is enough.

    2) Baby Got Back by. Sir Mix-a-lot. This song was fun. I know that you want to throw some hip-hop in there that will get the folks moving, but find another one and retire this one.

    3) Yeah by. Usher. Dear God, man, enough. It was fun while it lasted.

Feel free to add any other songs that you want retired from deejays' play lists.

Paradise By the Dashboard Light. Always played in the doucheyest straight bars. The women seem to enjoy singing their verse to some drunk guy they happen to be hanging with ("Stop right there!"). I will leave the bar when it comes on.

I'm don't know who sings it,but there is this one song on our store's musac station with the phrase "say what you need to say"constantly over and over.

    I can't stand it.

"Celebration" by Kool and the Gang...ESPECIALLY at weddings. (might as well put the Village People's YMCA in there too!)

I HATE "Boom Boom Pow" by the Black Eyed Peas.
The song just feels like it cant tell wether it wants to be a rap, techno, or pop song. I think the line that kills it is "IM SO 2008 AND YOUR SO 2000 AND LATE".

Really Fergie? Btw its 2009 and your stuck back in 2000 and L8.

Great thread Jack! Some of these would be in straight clubs, some of these are just god awful and I had to include on the list.

"I got friends in low Places" Garth Brooks
"Do You Think I'm Sexy?" Rod Stewart
    "Macarena" by whoever the fcuk.
"Electric Slide" by whoever the fcuk
"Mambo #5" (A little bit of Monica in my life)...." by Lou Begoa whoever the fcuk.

    "Freebird/Baby I love your way
" medley......what the fcuk! What was that all about? Who in their right mind would put those 2 songs together?

Well Jack....here is one for you....

    "Hot in Herre" by Nelly....

How did you miss that gem? And please make sure you have the correct Nelly spelling of "here" which is "herre" in Nelly-speak.

    U "herre" me?

Oddly enough, though I do detest that song....I would love to be where you are when it plays in a club.....

What are those lyrics again? Oh yeah...

    It's getting hot in herre.
So take off all your clothes.....
