I've been looking for a few pair of those military-esque camoflage styly boxer brief underwear, kinda like these...

...but looking for a few more to see what else there is to buy out there, but I'm not having too much luck so far.

Can anyone give me a hand?

One can only ponder the sort of mission that requires camouflaged underwear. Hot date in the DMZ?

I brought mine at a local army surplus store here in Boston. (http://www.armybarracks.com/) I'll have to check my pair to see who makes it. End up wearing it to a few costume parties. (Hmm, I should add a picture of them to my RJ profile.) icon_biggrin.gif

Thygros, I'm sorry, but again, as I previously mentioned, I am looking for underwear not army tents. I fully realize I am big, but I admit to being taken aback somewhat by being labeled as wearing army tents because I'm so frighteningly obese or something. I lost nearly 100 pounds recently because I'm trying really damn hard to keep on working out nearly every day. Believe it or not, there really is normally sized underwear I really do fit into.icon_wink.gif

Treader, I already checked your site but thanx anyways...icon_cool.gif

You know, not really a fan of ginchgonch. I don't know why, their underwear seems kind of tacky, but that's my taste.

Are you looking for boxers, or boxer-briefs?

Aussiebum's got some cute hipster style ones. I have a pair of their briefs in this pattern, and they're really cute.

I only wear camo underwear when I don't want to be seen icon_razz.gif
But I'll go ahead and post this from Undergear:
    http://www.undergear.com/product.asp?navtheme=dept&prodId=AG506LRDzz&itemNumber=AG506_XL_TR&N=110&sid=474B5E00E86617F

Also try 10percent.com they have a lot of brands under their underwear umbrella. They are more $$ than others, but you can usually get a sale notice if you sign up for the newsletter. Good luck

This is a hunter camo from Cabela's with sizes up to 2XL.

    Product # QW-980611

This is a boxer brief and the pair you reference are boxers. I didn't see anything in the sites referenced by the other guys that were boxers and camo and your size.

    Good Luck.

I think Crimthann is pulling your leg.

I think most do, some think that 'going commando' increases ventilation and reduces moisture.

The origin of the term "going commando" may connect to the tradition in Scottish military units to not wear underwear under their kilts. Rumor has it that Scottish soldiers once used the expression "regimental," to describe the state of going 'au natural' under a kilt

'In the British Forces, the term 'going commando' actually refers to not washing and generally being dirty, as Royal Marine Commandos and other elite regiments tend to have a reputation of doing when on exercise, or on patrol.' - Wikipedia

IME - A lot of truly EITE soldiers frequently used to go commando - because they use so much vaseline. Why Vaseline? It's important on long runs/marches, and for insulation in some cases, and it has other uses.

IMO - Traditional cycling shorts are designed to be worn without underwear: the chamois crotch is more effective in reducing chafing if it touches the skin directly - therefore a lot of Military guys today prefer cycling shorts; and that has replaced the once more common use of vaseline. This is NOT true of bike shorts, which look similar but lack the lining.

But then Crim was in more recently than I was.

    Nope, not pulling anyones leg.

I never wear underwear in uniform. And from what I've seen in all the locker rooms and what not, I'd say that's true for about 60 - 70% of the other guys. But thats in garrison. the percentage is higher in the field. Who wants to pack around all that extra gear? Not wearing underwear reduces your laundry (workload) and does feel better. Plus its one less layer to dig through when you've got to piss.
