If you were digging some guy and you knew he was emo (he cried at the end of Diary of a Mad Black Woman) and he wanted to watch a movie with you (Rambo: The Fight Continues). As you know, small children get murdered in that movie! I know he'll cry. Would you let him watch it?

Yes, as it's healthy for him to "let it all out". But if you're having issues with it, then the problem is with you, right?

Baby, baby, baby, you already know you could have it beginning, middle, and end of the movie.

    quite frankly.. no, its not..

Unless he's a good mate or a boyfriend, he can keep his tears to himself.. but If I'm gonna get laid I'll tolerate it.. but only so much..

I can relate to the other party, apparently. Does that make me emo? I remember sobbing at the opening credits of Superman Returns, the OBB music brought back happy memories of my childhood and it wasn't even planned. My bf then who was with me watching the movie decided to dump me at the time Superman was behind the trees stalking Lois Lane. He walked out, I decided to stay. He paid for the movies and the popcorn, so it was okay.

I think it was better that way.

LILTanker, you wouldn't watch a movie with some trikk. This is a mate and yes I care if the sight of innocent Thai villagers being slaughtered upset him.

well that's totally different, then, he's get an eye roll, a couple of comments, a box of tissues tossed at him and a hug, then I'd pick on him relentlessly about being a girl and we'd keep watching the movie..

you got no idea what I'd do for a lay right now.. none.. I'd watch a movie if need be!

    Is he 18 or over?

You sound like you are talking about a 10 year old.

No! Cause I'd laugh when you're not suppose to in the movie & don't want any bitching that I shouldn't be laughing......

    Guilty,

You mean not let him watch it to spare him?

    That's sweet.

I suppose you could suggest a different show to watch and avoid a meltdown.

    Let him watch it.
    Replay the saddest scenes.

Wear him down until he is so emotionally vulnerable that he has no choice but to put out.

Tonight is hell night. He wouldn't take no for an answer and insist I let him watch the genocide and the mayhem. If you spy me cascading past your window enraptured in a torrent of tears, you know the dam broke. icon_lol.gif
