I am pretty new to this weight loss. Well I was 212 when I started and am now 194. But it seems my body just wont shed any fat left in my body.

One thing is how do I go on to lose the extra weight?

second, How much protein should I be consuming in order to maintain my muscles strong enough to keep burning fat after the workout?

    thank you for your answers!

There will be people along shortly, that will give more details, but for now it would help to know what you are doing in the gym and what your diet looks like. Is your goal to become slim or muscular? No one is going to be able to answer your questions until you give this information.

Let's start our discovery / due diligence to help you with pictures. Your first assignment is to get your pictures and profile completed. We can't very well make any level of judgment without some images, and basic information. Only a fool does that.

    Oh I am sorry.

I weigh about 195lbs and I am 5 foot 10. I weight train about 3 times a week and cardio about 6 times a week. My weight training lasts about 45-55 min (right now I do overall body workout to get used to the gym again, plan on doing it for 6 weeks). Cardio workout, when I do my weight training I do about 45 min but on my "rest day" of the weight training, I do 1h30min of cardio/fat burn.

As for my diet, I started eating smaller portions between 4-6 times a day. Depending on my work schedule. I try to consume more protein (but I don't know how much I should) and try to consume less carbs. But as to exact amount of nutrients, I don't calculate it because it is a little hard to track because I live with my family and my mother cooks for everyone. But I can try and make an approximation if need be.

Hope that was enough info for you guys to help me out! icon_smile.gif

    Thanx in advance

My goal is to lose weight first and then start on accumulating the muscles.
