OMG!...I did my first Triathlon yesterday(saturday) and my ass is DRAGGIN" today! I am achy, slow and fatigued like I haven't been in a long time......It was all I could do today to go on a 5 mile walk.... I have been working out hard to prep for this "Tri"....and don't know why today I am feeling like I did something I wasn't ready for? It was a Sprint Triathlon... swim 0.75 Km, bike 25 Km, run 5 Km, ....I SUCK at swimming! God it took me 34 minutes for the 0.75 Km, I wasn't last, But that water was F**KING COLD! My Ride was OK, at about 53 minutes (on a modified hybrid Mt. Bike) but I was forever getting re-warmed up from the water, and my run was about average for me, at 28 minutes....so I was about 290 out of about 340...but I finished my very first TRIATHLON! Think I'll stick more to the DUATHLONS.....no more swimming! LOL! Any suggestions on "recovery"? I think I want to sleep and do I really have to go to work in the AM? UGH!!!!
