Okay, here's the thing. I'm going to the big city for new years, and I just want to turn heads. I'm in decent shape now (in the gym about 3 times a week), but I work and go to school full time, too. So, what I'm asking for is a plan, or at least some tips in order to tone, tighten and build a significant amount in a month. I'd really appreciate it!

Tone and tighten? I have found that pilates has really tightened my core...I was [significantly] effective within 30 days...however, I did a bit of pilates work EVERYDAY for that 30 days...[just 10 minutes]...and I went from 4 to 6 abs...

coupled with cardio, and replacing soda with water...I leaned up quickly after being away from the gym for about 3 months...

Most bodies just don't respond that fast. You're expectations are WAY too high for the change you want to see. You may be able to see some slimming in the first couple of weeks, but the other results you're looking for will take longer. If it was that easy, everyone would be doing it.

    Good luck.

I had to giggle, and "tone, tighten, and build..."

If I'm doing a show / contest, I STOP training 12 days out to allow my legs to split and so on.

It takes weeks, months, and years for some of the adaptations. That being said..here's some tips.

Lots of how you look is water balance. Get dry. It'll make you look thinner.

Might as well circuit train on the weights. You won't gain much size in three weeks.

Do interval training and you'll drop some fat, and some water.

Otherwise, stay the road, and check back in 6 months.

Honestly, in a month, unless you're really good, it's hard to make lots of changes. You can drop a percent in fat, maybe, with a strict diet. You can drop off bloat. You're not gonna' get buff in a month, though.

You have to learn patience, and discipline. It's how the game works.

Absolutely, Chuckystuds right I can't see you making a lot of changes that fast. This is a game of patience, and discipline.
    Good luck
