I'm in Japan for about 4 weeks and have a fairly small room to work out in. The nice thing is that they use tatami mats here, so my floor has a bit of a cushion to it.

I don't have anything that could work as a weight and I'm not close to any gyms. I'm hoping you guys can help me figure out a quick and dirty plan based using body-weight exercises.

I'm fairly ignorant on this. Before this I did martial arts, but the conditioning was just fast pushups and situps. Here are my big questions?

    1. What exercises should I do? (Any links to good body weight exercises would be awesome.)
    2. How much resting time is good? Someone on another site said something about abs healing faster and should be done everyday. Is that true? I'm clueless.

I have a bicycle for cardio.

Thanks on the hotel workout. I think that's about perfect for now. I had seen articles about hotel room ideas, but nothing this thorough.

Sahem, Kyoto is my base of operations for the time being. Did you have a gym in mind?
