Unless your medicine cabinet is completely empty, you might want to STFU, because we all depend on a wide variety of drugs (prescription and non) to get us through life.
My medicine cabinet IS completely empty. I have tried medications. They do not work. It takes 3 Percocet for me to even feel remotely drowsy, 5 500 mg Advil to do away with a headache, and as a young adult was taken off of Ritalin when my dosage got to 80 mg/day and was causing me to not sleep.
So, point of the story, my body is highly drug resistant. As such, I have generally found that not taking any is more beneficial to me than taking such high levels of them. I have found that there are other methods to overcoming pain and dealing with assorted ills and ailments. I just hope I never become HIV+, because I won't adhere to the drug routine. I detest taking medications.
However, in regards to your query, I would recommend a break for your body. Allowing your tolerance for any drug to dissipate will make it more effective when you again begin it.
Oh, I take it back. My roommate has a bottle of Tylenol and his thyroid medication in the cabinet.
