Soreness and Kickboxing

    I completed my first 1-hour kickboxing class at the gym yesterday. And, today I am completely sore!!!

    I love it, but was wondering what I could do to address these DOMS- without taking Ibuprofin or other 'drugs'...

    Any ideas?

    More exercise and stretching, just keep moving. It will feel better after a few more times.

    Make sure you do not skip the Warmup before workout and Cool-down afterward. Do static stretches after workout for about ten minutes. Get some cool shower. Sleep well.

    Your body will gradually build up strength as you keep doing proper training. icon_biggrin.gif
