Getting rid of Fat around the stomach/belly

    What are the best ways to get rid of the unwanted fat around the stomach/belly area?

    I have a bit.... so is my best bet doing cardio like running, or extra ab exercises? I know diet is considered, so I am just seeking answers in regards to the best exercises.

    The best way to lose fat is a consistent routine of cardio mixed with whole-body weight lifting workouts. Doing one or the other is less effective.

    Modifying your diet to high protein & low fat/sugar foods will help a lot as well.

    Cut out useless calories like Soda, junk food, etc. I've known guys who just stopped drinking soda and lost a noticeable amount of weight.

    Exactly what he said. And if you really want it, you got to stick to it. I'm speaking from experience because I'm beginning to travel that road myself.

    Combining weight training and cardio I tried one thing that worked for me, I stopped eating carbohydrates after 5pm or 6pm. Doing this allowed me to concentrate on eating more fiber like spinach and protein such as chicken with vegetables.

    Yet in order to gain muscle mass you must eat complex carbohydrates. Completely forget simple carbs (ie white rice, white breads, flour tortillas, stuff like this.)

    Intervals.

    12 meals a day. Low glycemic index. Moderate fat. Low to moderate carbs. High protein. No esoteric ab exercises needed, etc. Abs will take care of themselves. Adequate calories to retain metabolic activation and to support that metabolic activation of the intervals.
