Wanted to know if anyone has revisited a thread, read their reply to the OP and found themselves somewhat stunned that they felt that at that paticular time? and has that thread changed your original opinion?

    Revisit a thread...yes
Stunned by my response? well, yes and no...sometimes.
Usually surprised that my response is coherent and that I didn't make it longer... not so much on the core idea of the answer.....

From time to time, I revisit threads to see other responses, to make sure my grammar and spelling are correct and to see what others have said about the subject or my posts. I've never been shocked by my posts because I am thoughtful before I post. However, I am shocked from time to time by some of the posts from others that I read. It still amazes me that alot of us will attack the poster rather than the post.

I am afraid I have been guilty of posting before really thinking how others might misinterpret my intentions and indeed that has happened a few times and I had to change or delete my posts. Now I am more thoughtful and usually wait a short while after I feel so emotional about something; however when guys post blatant attacks showing prejudice on a group I identify with I get pissed and say too much sometimes. icon_smile.gif As when certain jerks keep posting about how everyone older than ___ are trolls at the gym or bars.

I also get my fur up when I see the racist comments from any group.
