My faves have always been Kirkwood and Sugarbowl... Never been to Homewood. Northstar's backside is nice...

Any Bay Area boarders interested in heading up after there's enough snow? Head up early Friday morning and enjoy the mountain before the weekend crowds arrive.

Kirkwood and Sugarbowl are my favorites as well. I'm heading to Tahoe to see my family for Christmas and am hoping to get some time to hit the slopes. So stoked.

    YES SIR!

I haven't been to Kirkwood...but I LOVE Sugarbowl, the Nevada side of Heavenly, Northstar, Squaw, and Mt. Rose...

I would love to head up there...I have already been dreaming about it...of course, it all depends on the damn snow this year and which Friday we are talking about!

My favourite is Alpine Meadows, great terrain, relaxed atmosphere and a short hike brings you to some great ungroomed areas. Agree with you on Sugarbowl and Kirkwood both great areas.
Homewood's good after a storm - loads of tree skiing and doesn't get as skied out as quickly as most places, but otherwise it's pretty limited.
Will be up there most weekends when the snow finally arrives

Kirkwood was amazing. Best place I've been to so far. But Colorado at the end of the week, that should be interesting.

Best place i have been, i would say is Suginohara, in Japan. Nothing beats untouched off piste tree runs. Wish i was heading back there this year.

My favorites in the Sierra include Sugar Bowl; Alpine, Squaw (Palisades). In the 90s I bought a house in Wyoming - and my favorite place there is Rendezvouz Mountain (Corbet's Couloir) Jackson Hole. Can't wait for snow!

Kirkwood definitely kicks. Absolutely loved Whistler/Blackcomb. SnowMass in Aspen was a lot fun too. Here in the Northeast, my favorite slopes are Sunday River and Stowe.

Enjoy Kirkwood if you guys go...
