So according to the media elite
the Wicked Witch of the North leaves office

    http://www.miamiherald.com/news/politics/AP/story/1158344.html

And according to the "birthers" and the right wing nuts
she was hounded out of office and went to be with her family

Take it for what it was
someone said that she was treating the Governorship like a gig as a barista at Starbucks
You guys think this one has a political future?
Or did she shoot herself in the foot from the proverbial helicopter?

Sorry Joey, I didn't realize you had already posted this. I'm just glad she's gone and hope reasonable people will see she never returns to elected office.

I think this Palin woman killed any hope of obtaining herself a national political office in the furture, when she resigned the Governorship in Alaska. It was a long shot even before she did that with how ignorant she continuously exposes herself to be, but quiting even took away some of her base. But don't underestimate the ignorance of her republican base who will continue to support her regardless of how inept she is at public office. Poll after poll have shown her popularity among Republicans at 70+ percentage points. We have to put our hopes in the more progressive population centers and educated areas of the country to hold back any possibility of her ignorance catching on. (I think the exception will be in the South primarily where fundamental christian ignorance has a hold on the majorities)

Well, I still want to see her in the news, because while she may be dumb, she's entertaining as hell. Her metaphors are superb.

So, as I have read in USA Today earlier this week and then heard on NPR later in the week, we now have a new group of right-wings Republican kooks on the scene called birthers, fueled on endlessly by Lou Dobbs and other conspiracy theorists and pundits. Exit Palins, enter birthers.

I agree. She and Michele Bachmann are both priceless.

    I'll second.
