Either steel-cut oats, old-fashioned oats (healthier than quick oats, BTW) or whole-grain pancakes with fresh fruit, eggs every other day, a couple of chicken breasts....that's all that goes in my mouth in the morning.

Aa far as food goes, I mean.

Bran flakes...not by choice they are revolting, but I learned my lesson when I dumped almost all carbs from my diet for two weeks icon_redface.gif

    God I love cereal!

Weetbix and Sultana Bran are what I usually alternate between. Sometimes Corn Flakes.

    Why? They taste awesome!

I'm not really a cereal person. Would prefer a nice omlette with capsicum and cheese icon_smile.gif

    Kashi Go Lean Cereal

Got enough sugar to taste good, and a ton of protein. After a long run, I often eat a whole box.

I don't get these "I'm not a cereal person" people when it's supposed to be the most important meal of the day to set up your metabolism.

Myself, I have either Vector or Kashi Go Lean Crunch or Kashi Honey Nut & Flax. -- plus a red grapefruit and coffee.

Captain Crunch? Its razorlike edges would cut your gums to ribbons. To eat it safely you first had to let the milk make it soggy.

I eat oatmeal and an egg white omelet, sometimes puffed rice instead of oatmeal.

Regular Go Lean is passable, but Go Lean Crunch is my cereal of choice. I only eat cereal dry, and you can grab nice big chunks of this stuff and stuff your face without making a mess.

Vector is the best tasting cereal I've ever had! Its only available in Canada. I have my mom send me costco boxes of this stuff when I'm down in the states for school!

yeh but if it gets soggy its nasty.

the trick is to eat just the berries first til they're all gone, then go for the razors. gotta be quick!

Loved Captain Crunch as a kid... roof of the mouth mutilation and all! ;)

Now, just Quaker Rolled oats, cooked with a banana and a spoonful of almond butter.

I like that it's so crunchy and hearty.
I also enjoy Kashi Go Lean and in a pinch I'll eat Cheerios.

I eat my Shredded Wheat almost every morning with nuts (cashews and or almonds,) Activia vanilla yogurt, and either blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries.

Well yeah, but sooo worth it.
Alas, these are my favorites, but I don't buy them. I usually eat raisin bran or multigrain cheerios. At least the cheerios are pretty. icon_eek.gif
    I'm sooo gay.

Rye bran totally sucks, but wheat bran isn't too bad, and Oat bran is good. I have that most mornings, usually with a few Shredded Wheat Honey Nut on top.

Flavored/Frosted shredded wheat and Quaker toasted oatmeal.

I also get a slight thrill out of finding a box of it for less than $3 at Big Lots, but that's neither here nor there.
