Strangely for a guy who keep calling me ugly, I give the vote to Chuckystud. Guilty Gear a close second.

Right now its Victor Martinez. His condition was pheonomenol at the 2007 olympia. I have always loved Bob Paris back in the day. Not because he was gay but because of his symmetry. He had one of the most beautiful physiques in the history of bb i think. Another of my favorites right now is dexter jackson (the blade). He is awesome!!! I like branch warren for his ruggedness and no non sense. Another one of my all time favorites is Lee Priest. He has been bb for so long! I admire his persistence and his no bull shit attitude.

Sagi is a genuinely nice guy, and is one of my trainers. We always get a crowd when we train together.

One of the reasons Sagi has been so wildly successful, I'm pretty sure, is his unwaivering discipline.

Sagi is a great instructor, and a good friend.

If you're ever in Dallas, his gym, Uptown Energy Fitness
Dallas (Uptown), Texas USA, on Lemmon and 75, is a great place to catch a workout.

Armin Scholz -- a complete god. I would do anything this man wants.

Alexey Shabunya -- ditto and freaking good looking man. Russian beast.

Dave Johnson -- smaller but all american jock type. He should have been my college roommate. I would have failed everything.

Kevin Levrone -- Circa 2000 size and shape with his shaved head. yummy.

Sagi Kavel -- hot when he does not speak and isnt full of himself -- which is never.

Dan Decker -- one of the hottest natural BBs around and always in great shape.

Denis Sergovskiy -- my new obsession

that list should get you started....

This one is easy:

Bob Paris: In his prime from mid-late 80's, was the perfect form. Hands down. Not a flaw in his physique.

Now, I am gonna disagree with allot of people here, but most bodybuilders from 1997 or so suck. They all look the same, with minor differences. They all take way too many drugs, and all look so similar. Dexter Jackson, whoever. Unless you are really an expert, they all look the same.

All I ask is that you look at history. Arnold, Serge Nubret and Ferrigno in 75. Three different body types, all good, but all different. Drugs, yes! but minimal. Or Bill Pearl, Arnie, and Sergio Oliva. Or look at Larry Scott, the first Mr. Olympia. I look at pics of him on the beach, in 1965, and I want to look like that. That is what made me want to lift weights.

Bodybuilding as we know it, and I have been a fan for 20 years, is dying cause they lost the idea of the most perfect man, and now it is who is the hugest. If Jay Cutler came in at a ripped 210, the public would love him. Instead he needs to be 270. and the public just looks at him as another steriod guy.

OK. My rant is over. Best bodybuilders:
Bob Paris
Bill Pearl
John Grimek
Larry Scott
Serge Nubret
Bob Birdsong
Tom Platz
Arnold Schwarzennegger
I could list alot more that no one has heard of, but really should be included...Frank Zane, Robbie Robinson, Mike Mentzer, Lee Haney...
And let's not forget Steve Reeves...who still has the look that we all strive for, 50 years later.

It is what it is....nobody remembers the greats that built it.

Yeah, what Trigger says.

My issue with today's chemistry experiments is the big waistlines. A narrow waist widening up thru flaring lats and wide shoulders gives a guy a stunning, head-snapping physique, IMHO. The big, blocky, HGH gut guys all look like cattle to me (which makes sense, because beef cattle are also man-made creatures designed with growth hormones and steroids to maximize muscle mass and with no regard for aesthetics).

I love the older body-builders more because they were working towards cemetery more than latter day body-builders. Now a days body-builders work towards Muscle density and size more than before

Lets stay natural.........

I don't believe in Un-natural building its cheating

I agree with Triggerman. Bob Paris had the best body ever... Can't be compared to our today's drug consumers...

By the way, any idea from him now? I'd love to know about him...

I have not done a show in 6-7 years but I am the best that ever was, is and will be.

I train to be the best that I can be and never ever try to be like anyone but be the best that I can be.

I hope to do a few shows next year.

I liked Berry Demey and Gary Strydom back in the 80's and 90's.

I personally didn't like Arnold's build. I think for him, his career landed in his lap with good timing. He was a big guy from Europe with charm. That was his winning ticket.

If he were to appear in this day and age he would not be highly regarded. His physique isn't well balanced. Small legs compared to an overly large torso.

For him, timing was the key. And back in the 70's there weren't many bodybuilders around as there are now.

MUCHMORETHANMUSCLE-

I could not disagree with you more:

To say Arnold's physique would not match up to bodybuilders today is arguing apples and oranges. In his day, guys did not have legs that overwhelmed the upper body. Look at Bill Pearl, Sergio Oliva, John Grimek, Larry Scott. I still think they look better than most every bodybuilder today.

They did not build huge legs because judges did not think, at the time, that that was the look they wanted. I still think it is over-rated, or Tom Platz would be a 3 time Mr. Olympia.

Judging today has changed, for the worse in my opinion, but you had to make the judges appreciate you IN YOUR OWN TIME.

If legs were huge back in Arnie's time, I have no doubt that he would have built the best around. He did it with everything else. He built his in balance with his physique according to the judging at the time. Don't forget, he actually held records in Europe in powerlifting before he became Mr. Olympia.

I love Ronnie Coleman and Jay Butler, ect. But if you had Ronnie, Jay and Arnold all starting at the same time, Arnold would win hands down. He had size and symetry and personality. Jay and Ronnie will not become international film stars, or Governors of the 6th largest economy in the world.

Arnold did what he needed to do to be the best in his time, beating Sergio Oliva, a physical freak, and everyone else. If he started today, he would do the same.

Take a pic of Arnold at his prime, one of the old Art Zeller pics, and put it alongside any current champ, and ask any non-fan who has the best looking body. 99.9% will say Arnie. He was the epitome of bodybuilding, before drugs completely took it over.

BTW- Bob Paris is alive and doing well in Palm Springs.
