Today, I saw a little old lady (like 5'4" and probably in her late 60's) rockin a pair of daisy dukes. Surprisingly she had nice legs. I guess age doesn't matter.. If you got it, flaunt it!

Having dinner with my partner and his niece, her husband and their 6-year-old daughter at a nice seafood restaurant, all just down from Atlanta. I was smiling the whole time. And of course we don't have to conceal our personal relationship, either in public here or with any of his large family. Plenty of reasons to smile.

I was able to entertain a few of my closest friends this evening.

They enjoyed prosecco, proscuitto, grossini, dates, smoked scamorsa, fruilano, caccitore, grapes, cherries and olives.

What made me smile was the knowing looks on their faces - they all knew that there would be food here for them when they got here... and they enjoyed it all.

After sitting around and chatting for a good part of the evening, we ventured to the hottub, the pool and the sauna to finish off the evening.

Here's to good friends who can put a smile on your face!

On the adulterous Tenn. state senator:

Careful there. Gouramis are from the same family as Siamese Fighting Fish (hence the same cheerful colorations in the native strains). In instances where it seems like they're 'playing', they're actually fighting. Most males of both gouramis and bettas are VERY territorial.

My three little nephews. They've been making me smile since yesterday evening. The 7 month old is "Happy", all the time. You just give him a smile and he smiles back with the widest smile possible. The middle one is "Bored", 2 months old. He smiles in sleep and when wide awake he just looks at different things. No expression at all. The last one, 3 weeks old, is "Whiny". Cries all the time and smiles like hes teasing "I can smile you old smelly lot! I'm just effing with you because I can". They're the cutest little things and i just wanna dunk them in my (iced) coffee.

xrichx saidToday, I saw a little old lady (like 5'4" and probably in her late 60's) rockin a pair of daisy dukes. Surprisingly she had nice legs. I guess age doesn't matter.. If you got it, flaunt it!

Why did it suprise you that she had 'nice legs'? It is possible in your late 60's - for guys too! Reading you forum made me smile!

I couldn't make sense of the word "sturdy" on the headline of a newspaper this morning. I re-read it seven times, each time coming up with a different word. Studly? Saturday? Study? Strappy? I laughed out loud when I finally figured out what it was and said, "HA! STURDY!"

The barista at my cafe asked, "Sorry, you wanted your coffee to... what?"

There is a new pizza place that has recently opened close to my work. The owner likes to come and share a few words with me every so often. He has a 5 year old son, who is notably smart. So while his dad was looking around the kid turns to me and says " You want something, you go and get it" and then he runs to join his dad. That brought a smile to my face.

I was scuba diving at a nearby jetty today.

It was quite bad visability, very very cloudy, didn't get any worthwhile pictures.. But the thing that made me smile?

A very large school of Sweep decided that my buddy and myself were VERY interesting. We had them hang around me for 30 minutes trying to work out what I was and get into every picture I was taking!

I message people alot, complimenting them on their profiles, and saying hello and maybe asking how they're doing. Usually they read the message and don't respond at all, but today someone actually responded. With a "thanks but I'm not interested," But at least I got a message!

That I just put myself in a "whatever" mindset to those negative folks out there. I choose to go past the continued bitching and itching about life and surround myself with folks who want to move forward and improve. Rather than sit there and point fingers at each other.

It was really awesome to see him, and he looked good, which made me feel good. I miss the dude a lot, and can't wait for him to come home

I thought about it again when I woke up, about how good he looked, and it made me smile.
