The powerpoint presentation worked perfectly for class tonight.

My puppy tries to race up the porch before i get to the top and he tripped over the final step and rolled forward

Detecting the sweet scent of freesia in my backyard, the first of the season...took some hunting for me to locate the source. I promptly snipped the spike of flowers.

A few other South African bulbs (Sparaxis, Chasmanthe) are also blooming. Yay spring!

Yesterday: It was nearing bedtime for my 6-year-old son. He was in his pajamas, sitting in his little chair and reading Geronimo Stilton. I approached him, crouched down, and stared intently into his eyes. He ignored my gaze for a few seconds, then looked at me and got up.

Son: Come with me.
Me: Why?
Son: I dunno, because I like you.

I was so not expecting that! That brief conversation darn near melted my heart *sniff*

I was contacted by a client who approved my proposal and its a go.

Geez.....when things are good, it geat. But when things are bad, it sucks.

I was at a stop sign and there was a guy crossing the street with his very very old Basset hound on a leash. The dog was so old, it was taking it's sweet time just waddling across the street, while the owner was a couple feet ahead. My car window was rolled down, so I could hear it's little paws/nails tapping away with each step. I thought it was cute.

Again, my amazing boyfriend.

Yes, we can't let it get to us- we can be stronger than depression I too feel a little down, but I'm always in a positive attitude & have a "move forward" outlook on life

I made the Dean's List for this past spring semester!

After 5 long years of working my ass off, I FINALLY achieved a long term desire. I just got word that I have been promoted to assistant professor. So happy and teary.
