Does the possibility exist of a long-term, monogamous relationship with a famous porn star?

You ever fantasize being involved with someone like Colton Ford, Matthew Rush, Francois Sagat, Tiger Tyson (and the many others:twistedicon_smile.gif but would it work?

I think most porn stars have made the conscious decision not to engage themselves in long term relationships.

I think that porn stars are already in the boat of insecurity with a lot of baggage, hence why they need money and other people's adoration to feel validated. They have a clear numerical value for themselves.

For them to leave the profession, they have to somehow develop a sense of self-worth which some do, but I have a feeling it's not very common. I wouldn't hold my breath for one of the big dogs.

I think it could work for them, but with someone who never knew them or watched them many times in their movies. I bet they have a lot of suspicion toward potential mates that the guy is just with them because they are a name or a brand and as you put it, fulfillment of a fantasy.

They know they are objects, it pays the bills, but I imagine, that when it is time to retire, they'd rather a mate who loves them for them not because they used to be a hot gay porn star.

Unless they retire, it wouldn't be monogamous.

I believe it would be possible given their partner is like 100 percent understanding about what their profession consist of.

Several porn stars been in long term relationships with each other. Blake Harper and Colton Ford, Blake Harper and Jason Branch, Francesco D'Macho and Damien Crosse, a couple of Hispanic couples...my point is they seem to be somewhat successful when dating each other.

As to your question, it depends on how you define monogamy. Is having sex on camera cheating?

Hardly any of them are gay in real life. Watch closely in the pictures and even the 'acting' - they are as gay as the girls in the 'lesbian' porn (marketed towards straight men) - I've almost never seen a gay guy in real life who looks like those guys and I've definitely never seen a gay woman who looks like those women in porn. It happens, sure, but it's so infrequent it's not even worth mentioning. What is worth mentioning is how drugs, gambling, or the struggle to pay child support, etc. will drive people to do things like this when they have no other skills or education to be productive. Porn has it's place, don't get me wrong, but it's also giving a lot of young/closeted gay guys a very warped idea of 1) what sex is and 2) what 'most' gay people really look like. With their expectations, they are in for a very big disappointment.

mikes39 saidI would argue that having sex on camera is not cheating if you have to fill out a W-2 and sign a contract before shooting your load.

This is some strange, strange logic.

Lots of gay porn stars have partners. But take a look at some of their blogs; it sounds like an endless carnival of drama.

People are all different so I don't think its really fair to judge someone by his professon. I knew a few porn guys in my halcyon youth and some were nice guys, some were, but with caveats. One of my best friends settled down with a porn star. They truly loved one another.

I beg to differ. LOL. It depends on what porn you're watching.

    And what GG said.

I think you need to look up the definition of a Monogamous Relationship ...... icon_neutral.gif
