"If you're going to kill someone, kill them, don't stand there talking about it!" ...the only part I liked.

I agree the acting was awful, the story was awful.

    It was just... awful.

Besides I can't stomach another vampire tale after reading interview with the vampire. Everything else just seems vulgar and barbarack now.

I am a little embarrassed to admit I paid to see it in the cinema. The Halloween ball was funny whether intentional or not and the line mentioned by GuiltyGear was the only really memorable one.

You remember those old action films from the 70s - the dialogues were hilarious. Pull the damn lever already, for pete's sake!!!!!!!!!!!icon_biggrin.gif

I never saw it, so I checked a Leonard Maltin review just now. He normally gives movies 1 to 4 stars, but this one got a "bomb" rating, which is much more rare. Guess everyone here already gave it their own bombs, that it in fact deserves.

I don't always catch movies at the cinema, sometimes I watch them on cable. This was on last night. I tried watching it but the story makes no sense and the CGI effects are so overwhelming the whole thing resembles a cartoon.

I don't know. Call me old, but to me it seems like every horror movie these days either:

    1. Is based on a video game.
    2. Looks like a video game.
    3. Is a rip-off of "The Ring" or
    4. Is a re-make of something I loved from 20-30 years ago.

Please, would the following directors come out of retirement: John Landis, John Carpenter, Roman Polanski, Tobe Hooper, Wiliam Freidkin, Francis Ford Coppola, Brian DePalma, Richard Donnor and, finally, please resurrect Alfred Hitchcock. Thank you, Santa.

Oh, and please have Uwe Boll killed. Thank you.

    I haven't seen a good horror movie since 1992.

Terrible movie; loved every stinkin' minute of it from my horizontal vantage point on the couch.

Started watching it from my DVR, but never finished. LAME

I was positively gleeful when it bombed at the box-office. The whole franchise-operation already was in high gear, with TV-series and Video-games planned or in production, but when the movie bombed everything was abandoned.

plot was awful, but i love vampires enough to be happily entertained by any movie with them in it, that has a relatively good budget. i thought the special effects were neat
