Oh my gawd, gag me with a spoon!!! What annoying crap! First of all, this kid is hearing god talk to him. Can you say, "early onset schizophrenia"? And, what's the point? Is it that god thinks it's ok to make children suffer because god lost his son? Makes god sound like a really selfish prick. It amazes me that christians believe this nonsense.

WTF??? Redemptive suffering??? Why is suffering a prerequisite to being redeemed? It's spiritual masturbation. How about redemptive displays of compassion and love? Why would god want people to suffer? Oh my gawd I can't stand it! I think my head is going to explode.

omg, i think i just upchucked into my mouth a little bit- gotta go brush the taste out now...

loss and death and suffering don't have to be heroized or made to 'mean anything special,' they're just parts of life- the terms and conditions of our existing at all- everything that begins must end; nothing magical in that- its cause and effect. true, death involves a mystery beyond or casual understanding, but it has more to do with the realization of one's non-being as an individual entity bound to illusion and samsara, and to equate putting a sick animal down to a divine theurgic sacrifice is silly, just as to equate real cosmic purpose to any life, let alone a vitamin deficient cow, is even worse.
this was a horrific display of grotesque over-sentimentality and religious ignorance.

Seriously what kind of parent lets their (from the sound of it young) child kill a calf. And how does a calf break its back. I mean cows have pretty much boring lives. Was it doing back flips or something. Im happy the kid had an inspiring come to jesus moment. But it still is possible one of the most retarted things Ive ever heard.
