So your in the groove, to cardio or a great weight workout.... and then you get interrupted and everything stops...

Does it happen or can it happen when you workout at home.

It just happened to me... doing morning cardio, first set of pushups
(50 push ups).. and then suddenly Mia, my female beagle appears and sticks her face under my arm on the way to a lick in the face. I fall over and just have to pet my Mias.....

No doubt Mia's just trying to tell you "Good Job, Dad, keep pumpin!"

Phone calls are my worst interruption.

Anytime I exercise or stretch at home, esp. anything on the ground (pushups, abwork, etc.) Baxter the cat is all up in the mix. I have to close him in a separate room to complete a workout.

For me it's our kitty, Luna. When I'm doing push-ups, her favorite thing is to lay directly under my face and spread out, arms and legs pawing at my wrists. If I'm doing crunches, she tries to lay on my stomach.

Whatever she's doing, it's too friggin' cute and I always stop to pet her.

    I workout at home.
Put up a kiddie gate to keep your dog confined to one room until you finish your workout.
Don't answer the phone. Nothing's that important.
Don't answer the door unless it's somebody delivering a package.
