Question about muscle recovery and playing tennis

    Is it ok to play sports such as tennis on your days off from the gym? I'm wondering if it is delaying the healing process. I play about 2-3 hours and use it for cardio.

    Also, is it ok to lift weights in the morning then play tennis in the evening?

    There shouldn't be any problems with it. Tennis would be good active recovery. It keeps you moving and helps keep your muscles from tightening up. Just be sure your nutrition supports all the physical activity.
