I think the issue would be dating a medical professional, whose schedule might be demanding, and if there is a significant income disparity between the 2 of you. His medical specialty would seem largely irrelevant to me. What would you prefer -- a proctologist?

This is as bad as the "would you date an LMT?" Outside of mobsters, drug dealers and prostitutes, anyone who refuses to date someone based on their profession deserves to be single.
