BOLD TEXT GOES HEREThis is getting really scary. Now Obama wants people to spy on each other? Anyone who does not agree with him is to be reported! What is going on?

Now our own government, under Obama will spy on anyone that does not agree with him? I am sorry, that is NOT right! According to Obama, it is your duty to report me to him, so are you going to blindly support his policies?

If you do not trust my sources then listen to what the white house has to say. It was on the news, you can hear it from their own spokesperson, but you rarely will hear about that in the liberal media...they tend to edit parts that make Obama look bad out of their broadcast, that is why Fox news has the largest Audience, and their popularity under the struggling middle class is growing! Everyone, Gay, Bi, Straight, Poor, rich, the middle class listens to Fox News.

"Gosh".. it is "scary".... I'm shaking!

Its pathetic that a network that claims to be "fair and impartial" (laugh) could ever even suggest such an outragious thing!

I got the message from President Obama himself! It came through his trusted network of left wing spies. He said for us to report any excessive capitalism and anyone goose stepping to the Imperial March. And then I was supposed to go down to local liquor store and get myself a pint of MadDog 20/20 and some crack from the curbside pharmacist and go home and get high for a job well done...
I may have gotten those backwards!icon_rolleyes.gif

This wasn't only on Fox News I am sure. I saw it on MSNBC, CNN, and other major networks. Why is it that whenever something negative comes up about Obama it's always dubbed something dreamed up by Fox News?

Yeah, I'm sure Sean Hannity reported this story just as fairly as Rachel Maddow would. We're just picking on poor Fox News, they get such a bad rap, don't they? It's not like they make ridiculous comments every day, like "Obama hates white people".

This isn't even "spying" really. Spying is what George W Bush, the NSA, and AT&T did to the American people when he was in office.

LOL @ media spin and sensationalism.

Obama may or may not be spying and he may not "plan" on eliminating insurance companies but the sad fact is that will be the "unintended" side effect of the dems proposals....companies offer health care to get and retain employees. The minute the playing field is leveled by a public "option" every company in the USA will drop insurance. If you like the way the government runs the IRS your gonna love obama health scare... the scariest part is the that folks that might know whats in the plan refuse to drop their government health care for life in favor of the bullshit they are trying to ram down our throat... god i hope they continue to screw this up so it fails... yes.... I hope the president fails because what he is proposing scares the shit out of me...

Is this honestly what you think is going to happen, or are you just trying to rile people up?

Regardless of whether any of the stuff you hope will happen does in fact happen, in the end, this option will ensure that 50 million Americans have access to healthcare. Don't you think that is a good thing? Don't you think that should be the number one priority.

It will be an option, not "option". Everyone and their mother will not default to this. But it's better than nothing, and that's what a lot of people are stuck with right now.

Read back your post. Since when is leveling the playing field a bad thing? I've never seen it used in that context. Why let health insurance companies have the higher ground when they're making huge sums of money off of us. Look up their ridiculous profits and then tell me why I should feel bad for them for making slightly less?

i really believe that is likely to happen

Nope... putting people back to work should be our number 1 priority. I do believe that we need to make health care more affordable. Why isn't tort reform on the table.. when 1/3 to 1/2 of the cost of every doctor visit goes to malpractice insurance shouldn't we at least be looking at tort reform... nope because Obama and his transparent cronies are in the pocket of the trial lawyers

It will be an option, not "option". Everyone and their mother will not default to this. But it's better than nothing, and that's what a lot of people are stuck with right now.
silly me.. i thought we should be aiming higher than better than nothing.

Leveling the playing field is almost always a bad thing. it promotes lowest common denominator... mediocraty...every child is a star...we shouldn't score tests or sports... pathetic

Whose ramming private insurance down OUR throat? We're the ones that are trying to create choice. If you're talking about "unintended" consequences of a public plan, then if people don't want the government to run healthcare and get these companies out of business, then they should remain with their private insurers, it's that simple.

Otherwise, people do want the government to run healthcare.

Also, no offense, but enough with the crap on how your leaders do want to reform healthcare, how they do want to cover the uninsured, etc. You had 8 years of a Republican president, and 6 years of congressional control, and you didn't lay a finger on healthcare, other than nearly take millions of children out of it.

Now when you have no choice, you're talking about how it really needs to get done, but just your way.

Duh... when in doubt drag out Bush...news flash... he isn't our president...and I never advocated his position or lack thereof on healthcare. We need incremental reform... starting with tort reform, creating pools for uninsured to buy in groups...allowing companies to offer national policies rather than forcing a company to tailor different plans for every state... oh and the children argument.. the state i live in provides insurance for every child of a working parent that is not offered insurance through his or her workplace...and children of those lazy ass welfare slugs are on medicaid...so the children argument doesn't fly
