So I've talked to a couple of guys on various sites and sometimes I like to cam with them: not anything sexual, I just like to see the guy, look at his face when he smiles, watch his expressions, it's just another way of getting to know people. Also, it confirms if a guy's lying about their profile, putting up pics that aren't of them, or putting down "muscular" or "athletic" when they are WAY out of shape.
But when it comes time to cam, some guys ask me to go to a site where they are already "camming" promising "You have to fill out a profile and it makes you give your credit card info, but I can get you in for free..."
Is it really that hard to cam on here? Or on yahoo? Or on AIM? Or somewhere where I don't have to give my personal info on the internet, even if it's "free" (and reading the fine print, it's not)? They give excuses like "it doesn't work anywhere else" or "I don't have AIM or Yahoo." Well... I'm pretty sure RJ and other sites lets you cam on their IMs...
    These guys are litterally DUMB.

What's your experiences with caming been like? Do you think it's purely sexual or do you think you can really get to know people better that way? Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Any time a "free" site asks for your credit card info, it should be a red alert for a scam. Or if a guy tells you to go to another site, then it's probably a scam.

Any time someone asks me to go to a site that requires payment, I come to a full stop. I think the guy is scamming for the site, plain and simple.

    Its' camming.

There are a number of sites that ask as relay servers, and act as agents, and that charge. Those sites are for cybersex whores, e.g. nightflirt.com, and their followers. They are legitimate services for the needy. However, there are a number of sites that are just fronts for fraud. Those guys are trying to get your info for later use.

Yahoo, Google, Skype, Google...don't have services where their relays charge. You should never associate with a picture less, a head less, or someone who won't just pick up the phone and call you, or anyone who doesn't have a first and last name. That's indicative of mental illness and low esteem. Remember what your mama said? Don't talk to strangers nor to strange people who hide in the bushes. Likely, they're sick.

Remember, if someone is hiding something it's because they aren't good people for whatever reason. Avoid folks who won't show you what they look like, give you a name, call you on the phone, or meet with you in person. They're sick.
