Funny this topic came up. He is featured in a Mens Fitness article back in (don't laugh yer youngins) 1993. The article is about his transformation from a lardass (and he was a lardass, let me tell you) into this ripped awesome athlete.
That article really transformed the way I viewed how I wanted to look. I followed the routine he suggested rigorously for most of 1993 (when I was a tender 27) and REALLY transformed the way I looked. To cut a long story short, the gist of the workout is that you don't have to be HUGE to look good. It was about cutting into what you have - DEFINITION. I prb gained about 2 lbs that entire year, but at the end of 1993 I looked like I had put on 30lbs. Even the huge muscleheads in the gym were all over me about my "secret".
I've actually met him (and I can't remember his name....so many men, so little memory) and he was a sweetheart...alas, STRAIGHT. but hey, he continues to motivate me and countless others.
