Wow. They're unattractive, sing off-key, and the tenor in the blue sweatshirt looks like he's family.

    Seriously, this is horrifying.

That's actually been around for a while. I'm with Hippie in finding it so extreme it's funny. It is annoying how much attention they get, though.

The creepiest part about the whole thing was the little girl at the end, I think. The fact that these people vote and reproduce is just frightening.

But, I did laugh my ass off at the video. I wonder how the "We Are the World" authors feel about having their music used for something like this?

common guys, it's hate that we really feel inside. it's hate that motivate them, and it's hate that they want as response.

I like the original version better LOL...these people were off key and I think I slept with one of the guys in the video, thats weird. I love the part where the woman breaks out into a solo and the woman holding the paper looks so proud like they picked the best singer for this part. HAHA

I know this group is hateful, but I find their rhetoric so over-the-top and so monomaniacally focused on the single issue of homosexuality that I cannot take them seriously. Their rhetoric is totally Martin Luther, the ultimate in old-school denunciation of humanity. I think it's hysterical--in both senses, but especially the clinical one.

I encountered these people at the 2000 Washington march--actually, the day before, there was an all-star concert at RFK stadium to benefit HRC and they were picketing. They got in my then-boyfriend's face and he was really polite, just asked them to leave him alone, but they started literally shoving him and pushing and trying to get him to read the signs they were waving at him. It was all he could do to keep me from getting into a fight, but then the DC police stepped in and pulled the loonies away. One thing I noticed---I worked in a psychiatric hospital once, for a while, and saw some sociopaths---they had the same kind of flat affect and dead eyes as the sociopaths.

It's funny to a point, but the images of children holding signs of hatred are appalling and the grand finale is even worse. It is increasingly difficult for me to look at our society without getting sick because people like this seem to be coming out of the woodwork. I know it's wrong to think of other human beings as inferior, but I can't help myself. People like that make me want to vomit.

These people need to chillax immediately! They also need to revise the lyrics to that silly song. If "god hates the world and all her people," that includes them. P.S. are there any attractive religious fanatics!?

Its funny too because in the Bible it says to love everyone like you want to be loved... SO I guess these people don't like love... "True Christians" at work. Nice job guys!

"Horrifying, yes, but it's worst sin is that it's lethargic and goes on forever! I jumped to a spot towards the end and saw some guy waving an upside down Canadian flag. Does this have a coded meaning that I'm not aware of?"

LOL! A true critic. It's despicable but the performance is insufficiently energetic to communicate the necessary hatred to stir ordinary people to pick up torches and pitchforks.

I'd pit these fundamentalists against Islam's worst. That'd be a great rumble. The winner is the better religion.

I seem to remember the lead singer in the gray sweater from her old bra-burning days of the 70's.

I am more of a half-full glass guy. I go along with Ted in QaF where he tell Emmett that God doesn't make mistakes. He created us just as he wanted us to be.

All we can do is take the hand that has been dealt us and play it the best we can - sometimes from a position of strength and sometimes with a bluff.

Ah, got to love Christians. Some of the most hateful people in the world. And goes against all of the Bible's and Christ's teachings.

I don't agree with the video as much as the next person on this site but we also must remember that not all Christians are like that. I just feel sorry for the people who made this video because I know that they are unhappy people and nothing will ever change that until they change themselves.

P.S. mad props to the person who made the sign saying love they neighbor..... in the ass icon_smile.gif

If God hates the world AND all it's people, doesn't that mean he hates these assholes too?
