THE HOT GAY MAN SAYS "HELLO": Your Response?

One of these situation questions: Lets say you are single and walk into a "Bed, Bath and Beyond" shopping for Christmas. You look up and see a hot man with great eyes & body looking at you. He says hello. You know immediately he's gay. *

    What is most likely?

    A) You don't acknowledge him

    B) You say hello back and go about your shopping

    C) You say hello and are curious and end up checking him out from a distance, then maybe strike up a conversation if the situation is right

    D) You say hello and then follow up sensing a candidate for a hook up.

Secondly: You are involved with someone... is your approach any different?icon_confused.gif

*Based on a situation this last weekend

I think the best answer for me is:

    C) You say hello and are curious and end up checking him out from a distance, then maybe strike up a conversation if the situation is right

I like to check someone out and see if they are with anyone before I just jump into a conversation.

I say hello back and assume he works there or he's mistaken me for someone else.

I say C...ıf I was single, but your follow up, what if I was seeing some one, then it depends. If it was going to get serious, or really like him, then no, this my sound dumb, but I am very true to my guy, but if I knew my current status was not going anywhere, then yup, the answer is still C...LOL

E - pretty much what Timberoo said. Except the part about being in "Bed Bath and Beyond" clearly indicates that the whole thing is a bizarre dream. So probably I try to say "Hello" but an orange snake comes out of my mouth or something.

I'm in the same field with Drew. In fact it just happened a few minutes ago! Only I'm in the Library no BB&B.

Luckily from working in Customer Service most of my life.. I would go into auto pilot and say "Hey! How's it going?"
Small talk wouldn't be an issue and more than likely I would get him to laugh about something.. but well.. as for introducing myself and anything past that.. yeah.. I wouldn't have the courage to do so. icon_sad.gif

Wow... If I were in that situation I'd go for C. Although I'd probably dive right into conversation instead of stealthily checking him out. I know what I like when I see it, so yeah. I'd make it end well for me. icon_twisted.gif

If I were in a relationship... I'd probably greet him back and continue shopping.

Sadly the only place where this could happen now is at Ralphs or Borders. icon_cry.gif

    C) You say hello, flash him a gigawatt smile while you look into his eyes for a split second, are curious and end up checking him out from a distance, then maybe strike up a conversation if the situation is right.

    How abot :

    E) You say hello, smile politely, and introduce yourself if the opportunity arises sensing a nice guy and potential friend. In the first half dozen sentences you manage to let him know you have a partner.

    I'd say C -
Then offer him my 20% coupon and if he's nice tell him we have a 2 for the price of 1 deal at my house :-)

I hope I'll have enough guts to do "C" ..(it depends on how hot he is)
if I was in a relationship then definetly "B"

Probably C and B.....but I would be curious as to whether he worked there or not. If he did work there, I would be really nice back, but I wouldn't assume anything since he might just be doing his job = being nice to everyone, not just me.

I did a little research last night at the grocery store. I gave the checker a huge smile and strong eye contact when he seemed a little friendlier than most. Not only did those gorgeous blue eyes not break contact, he blushed and had a *huge* smile on his face still when I left.

Of course, the check-out line doesn't give you much time to strike up a conversation. icon_confused.gif

There is this skinny and cute waiter at this Mexican joint I frequent.

He's always doing things more "sexier" in front of me like wiping my table with more gyrations and wiggles. Or he'll place my drink in front of me exactly like the Playboy bunnies do, you know, with that signature "dip".

It's flattering, but I don't want to flirt with him in front of his co-workers, he may not be out to them in that way. He butches it up when his buddies come in. So, naturally, I follow that lead.

He gave me this hyper smile when one of my coins rolled out of my pocket and bumped onto his shoe. I knelt down near him to pick it up and as I did, I lifted myself close to him, our chests were centimeters apart. I smiled back, then left.

    I am such a tease.
