I got dumped by my boyfriend last week so I decided to go on a road trip.

I made an episode about it for my webshow.

I am in Chapel Hill now, I leave tomorrow for Savannah, then Charleston, then Charlotte, then back towards Richmond.
If anyone knows of anything fun going on in those cities that I should check out. let me know.

I'll post more episodes as I make them.

P.S. Sorry to hear about your recent breakup, but it seems like you will rebound successfully and not let it polarize you! To bad you traveled south, North would have offered it's advantages (NYC) that car is considered the HOT DUDE MAGNET here in the apple! Safe Travels

    Best of luck

Check out Klingman's Dome and the Smokies in TN/NC, some nice scenery there for the east coast although the roads are a little windy. It's not far off the planned route.
I've roadtripped to all 48 of the lower US including a 4400 mile/9 day trip this April!

I'm in Charlotte. Depends on what you have in mind. There are a bunch of parks with trails, and greenways. If you're staying tonight a lot of people go out to Scorpios to watch drag, get wasted, and dance. You could go to a mall...Southpark's the ritzy one if you like glitz in your wardrobe.

You can check out a creative loafing paper or look at their website to see what's going on around town as well. Greekfest might be going on this weekend too. That's at the Greek Orthodox Church...lots of food and crafts and stuff.
