My favorite pop has been "Mt. Dew" over the last several years.
Probably not the best choice, but I've had other favorites, "Pepsi" and
an energy drink ranked. Also also enjoy the SOBE waters, which I tend to drink more than any pop.

Haven' had soda (outside of plain seltzer water) in years.

If I have seltzer it is either with lemon or lime twist or a splash of cranberry or pomegranate juice.

I try (but fail miserably!) not to drink soda pop (forgive me Father, for I have sinned!) I try to drink water and lime or lemon juice - - but I have a diet Coke or Pepsi almost every day. I add Torani rasberry to them - - - this is an Italian soda.......a great drink.icon_smile.gif

OMG, Dr Browns diet Red Cherry. I used to get this at Big Lots in the nineties, now I can only get it at gourmet grocery stores. Dr Brown also has celery flavored soda....maybe it would be good in a mixed drink.

Diet coke -- my only real vice. icon_redface.gif
I've been trying to drink club soda and lemonade instead, which is nice on a hot day.

I had an Uncle who's family used to bottle and distribute Moxie. I never figured what people used to like about this. It always tasted like someone mixed unsweetened cola, unsweetened rootbeer and coffee together. Bad medicine. Loved the logo though. It was everywhere where I grew up outside Boston.

Favorite tonic was always Sasparilla. Can't find it though.

    Now it's Pepsi 0.

If someone deserves to die, it's the sick person who came up with that idea... and the person(s) who made it possible to realize that idea. I pity the fools.

I don't drink much soda, but the occasional dr. pepper is nice.
for drinks, schweppes bitter lemon is awesome with gin or vodka.

I didn't drink Coke until I was well into my teens, and then only seldom. Carbonated drinks I had when I was a kid in the 1950s included cream soda, root beer, and sometimes grape or cherry. The cans were steel, and either required a can opener to puncture them (no pull tabs), or else the cans had a conical top with a bottle cap for which you also needed an opener (no twist tops).

7-Up was like poison to me, I couldn't figure out how anyone could tolerate it. Now I drink it regularly, especially with vodka or scotch, along with Sprite.

Today I love a Coke with a pizza, or else a beer, something else I didn't like until well into middle age.

    Same.

Once or twice a year I have a rootbeer or a sprite. I don't miss it at all.

Mexican Coca Cola. Real cane sugar instead of corn syrup. We've mostly forgotten what that tastes like...
