Yeah, I have been jamming out to this all summer. Great song. I wish Kelly Rowland would come out with a dance album. She could be the next Deborah Cox.

TheIStrat suggested: when love takes over ...

you take a step back, find your head, and proceed with reason.

I think I'm one of the few who strongly dislikes this song.

Jealous I didn't make what? A song awful enough for drunk people to throw up to?

What I don't understand is WHY a song like this with such an old school anthem-trance formula made it's way into any chart post-"Dj Sammy - Heaven" era. It's as if this song came out in 2004, then magically resurfaced in the US five years later because, as usual, the mass market here is oblivious to European dance music trends (except for the occasional "raver").

LOL The first time I've heard this song I thought it was a remix/mash-up using Coldplay - Clocks.

    Very catchy.

It's not that we are oblivious to EUROPEAN DANCE MUSIC, it's because we've heard it and although there are some good tracks in that genre most of it is rather pedestrian and lame and we really don't care a flying f*ck about it. I like this song.

A song like that makes people loose the snarky attitude and dance out of pure happiness. This collective vibe energizes everyone on the dance floor and when that happens, its one of the most thrilling experiences ever. Love DOES take over!

    Great remix.

i like david guetta. and kelly rowland is pretty good in this one too. besides, its just how it is for most gay guys (like me).. we just cant resist a good club song anthem. its entrancing even for the few minutes the song is played..

.. ur at the bar and a song is played.. u grab a friend and u both say.. "i love this song".. and for those who are not part of the scene (as they always use that term), u have ur music that makes u giddy like a school girl too. (or if ur too macho to admit that, as enraged as a mosh pit member) its just in a different section of the CD store.

..just wish kelly rowland would stick to singing and drop the hosting gig on that awful project runway replacement show.
