Hey guys. I hope this is kept up, but I think it's important especially this time of year to keep up to date with charities helping people in need. I'm posting this in hope that people in other cities will put their city in bold, and then list the information about the charity event. Some of the best memories of childhood involve opening gifts for Christmas, and I just feel like every child should have that. If you have the ability to help out, please do...Even if you don't celebrate Christmas. I actually prefer giving gifts than giving companies money to go and buy toys (i.e. Best Buy's program), just because you have no idea what they give out. Anyway, just a suggestion. Feel free to add if you'd like. Hope this finds you all well. This is one I just heard about:

The PEOPLE*S Theater of Chicago and INNJOY Bar and Restaurant are teaming up again for the THIRD Annual MONDO XMAS PARTY and TOY DRIVE benefiting the kids at AIDS CARE CHICAGO on Sunday December 9th. PLAN ON ATTENDING.

This party will truly be a great time for all.

Party is at INNJOY (2051 W. Division Street in Wicker Park) and features the
true insanity of DJ Tod Mod, The Super Diva Madrid and special guest DJ's
Scott Kramer and Jillian from LBC and Funky Buddha!

Bring ONE unwrapped toy for a kid between the ages of 3-16 and bring your
dancing shoes. Drink specials and mayhem!!! Party starts at 9pm.

This holiday you can bring the joy of Christmas to the heart of a child
in need. All toys will be personally delivered by Santa and his Elves to the
families receiving care from AIDS CARE CHICAGO.

Thank you so much for playing your part in making Christmas meaningful!
