    Hi All,

So, I've moved around pretty frequently over the last five years, and have been in several countries. It feels like it's about time to settle down, and I'm considering where I'd like to do it.

I was wondering what you guys look for when you decide to relocate? What do you want to find in a new city? What would make you want to stay? Concerts? Sports? Parks? Large dating scene? Small dating scene?

And... well, to extend the question a bit... how happy are you with where you are? Where have you been happiest? Why?

I look for great climate, abundant sunshine, beautiful scenery/geography, thriving cultural/nightlife scene, affordability, good job market, and a decent size gay community. No city is perfect so I try to get as many of those things as possible.

friendly neighbors - for the most part, parks, people biking, mom & pop shops (i.e., local stores), and not too many highways.

I think the more appropriate question is through your travels, what have you enjoyed most? Figure that out and figure out what place encompasses those attributes.

Ethnic and architectural diversity, friendly people, walkable neighborhoods, reasonable cost of living, four season climate.icon_biggrin.gif
