Has anyone ever posted an ad for getting with a guy for a just a one-time-thing on Craig's List? I'm interested, but don't want to get swarmed with weird responses.

craigslist "personals" is a sketchy place. If you are interested in a hookup, then id recommend meeting someone via other means. In person is best. Just be careful, in every way.

Remember that Craig'slist killer a few months back? I wouldn't do it. I also would not play Russian roulette.

Agreed. Craig's List seems to draw out the nutcases. There are other options like Manhunt and Adam4Adam. Whatever you do be safe.

This topic has been covered a bunch.

We work small business leads on craigslist every day.

With regard to meeting guys, craigslist, is the bottom rung of the ladder. It's the dirt UNDER the road. If you're into dick pics, disease, even false names, or sex with strangers, craigslist is sure bet.

I haven't done anything, a few buds of mine just brought it up. We don't want to do anything, we were just curious as to what happens on there.

I have to agree, I would NEVER pick up a guy off craigslist. If your looking for a good hookup site, Manhunt has a much better selection and most of the pics are not fakes.

Any site is as good as the person using it. I haven't used CL myself (not for sex anyway) but who's to say you can't get the same results from it like any other site?

I suppose the reward depends on the person and they choose to go about obtaining it.

If you are looking for sex then any site is "hit-or-miss". Truth be told RJ is on par with CL in the same way as any other site if your sole purpose is just for sex. You have people with fake profiles and deceitful attitudes who will do a lot of things to get what they want. The lack of profile information, shady pix, false pix and information, the cam game and other such things.

CL, RJ, A4A, MH and a few other sites are all the same in terms of a person looking for sex. The only difference is CL doesn't ask for membership fees for unlimited access and can't be held responsible for whatever happens since it truly is a "enter at your own risk" thing. It's basically an online newspaper that's free.

In short you don't what you are getting from any of these sites unless you see it in real time and deal with it up close and personally and even then that's not really enough thanks to that lovely habit we humans like to do. It's called lying.

I have done it with mixed results. I always request pics and stats and let the guys know that when we meet, they have to be who they say they are.
