Ok guyz I took a lot of care to shave my shaft to show it off for my guy. Now the stubble is pricking me. It feels like little needles sticking me. Can you suggest any relief from now until the hair grows back? icon_mad.gif ouch!!

If this is the first time you've done it, there will be prickly stubble. After that, if you shave at least once a week, you shouldn't have any problems. That has been my experience...

After awhile, it won't bother you. A bit of Gold Bond powder should help.

yea, i went running today and I kept touching myself to relief the "prickly sensation..."

I do always keep my pubes trimmed way down but wanted to display what I have...don't know if I'll keep the shafted shaved if I gotta feel this sensation...

    Well, live and learn!

How many people have the theme from "SHAFT" running through their heads right now?

This is the reason why I never shave, but only trim. Just let it grow and it will be better in a few days.

I used to shave my shaft and balls everyday with the Mach 3 razor, and Edge aloe shaving gel. From what I remember, if you do it consistently, it becomes easier and smoother. That said, I gave up the razor for the natural look. Only shave my face now Monday - Friday. On the weekend, the scruffy warrior comes out.

stroking the shaved shaft & boys with a clear, wide stick deoderant helps to relieve the stickiness and itchiness of shaving. icon_cool.gif

Funny topic. I actually just trim my balls. I do, however, shave the base of the shaft. Sometimes I even pluck the hairs, so it stays smoother longer. Long hairs on the shaft are so unattractive. I am surprised how many guys don't take the time to groom.
When you do shave make sure you keep the razor wet and apply shaving cream to the area you are shaving. I find a dry shave is more likely to cause irritation.

I like it when balls and shaft are shaved. Haven't done it in awhile.

    Hey Neon!

the power shower by philosophy has a numbing agent that works good. It's a shower gel and you can use it everyday. I like to be clean shaving everywhere it makes me feel sexy!

I do love the way it looks all clean n smooth... my guy loved looking at it but it does, as "the guy next door" says takes a lot of time with all the shaving.

Right now, I shave my face, chest, balls, shaft.... I guess I'll take the easier road... kept my chest n face shaved and the rest trimmed down.

I wish I could show all of you the clean look before it grows back in.

As with the face, you can't just shave once. You have to shave and shave and shave. Maybe not every day, but often.

    just don't shave it.
    trim, don't shave.

i really don't think men should ever shave anything but their faces (and backs if necessary)- the rest should be trimmed with electric clippers. i tried shaving just the base of my dick once and got an ingrown hair later on from it- NEVER AGAIN lol.

besides- shaved cock and balls looks pre-pubescent and creepy, i don't know what anyone sees in it (unless they have a thing for man-children... shudders)
men should have hair on their bodies where its supposed to be- just manscape if you want it to look a bit better managed.

I shave the shaft....doesnt seem to irritate me, but the base and balls (and everything else for that matter) just gets trimmed. Shaving is super irritable to do to everything but in moderate trimming....you can go a long way! haha
