    Well, not quite.

I'm having a clear out of my flat. How have I acquired so much tat and rubbish and how am I going to get rid of it all?

I have lots of power extensions, scsi cables, an old PC but no monitor. And lots of suitcases. Why? Where did they come from?

Spose I should get back to clearing out the stuff.

It's autumn. Wait until SPRING for Spring cleaning! icon_wink.gif

Donate that stuff to charity. Homeless shelters, computer-recycling facilities, second-hand shops. Gets receipts and deduct it on your taxes!

I go through my flat and clear it out every few months, its amazing how quickly the random things collect.

I take my clothes and random things to a local charity, I write it off and get rid of the clutter.

I'm always glad I did in hind sight but if doesn't keep me from amassing more crap. Good luck!

It's been an ongoing process. But I'm almost done. I've managed to throw out a bunch of stuff. The only things remaining are old gadgets and computers/parts.

Life is much simpler with less "stuff".

I clean everything - every day. I'm coming upstairs to inspect your closets next.........and I'd BETTER NOT find any Wire Hangers in that closet! And by the way, Did You Scrub The Bathroom Floor Today?!

No spring cleaning for me - - I keep on top of things all the time instead.

Its always a good day when I find something to get rid of. You would be surprised on how much stuff you can live without, even if you think you can't.

When my house is clutter free, so is my mind.

I can't believe how much stuff I can accumulate in such a short period. I down sized houses once to have less rooms to fill. Ready to give everything a way and get a loft somewhere so I can start over and keep it simple.

I do that every so often and I'm badly in need of doing that now. I've got clothes I've not worn in several years and probably never will. There's no need to keep that hanging in my closet taking up space.

when i divorced last year and moved i was blown away by how much i had accumulated.....6 large plastic containers of clothes that i don't know where came from...plus all the stuff she left and did not want...i have boxes of tupperware with out tops and tupperware without bottoms.....she must have a matching set....2 7ft christmas trees boxes and boxes of decorations she did not want....so have started cleaning out and scaling down...i love things simple and clean and neat...unlike how our house was for years....she was a pack rat...collected and collected and collected and never threw a damn thing away.....i still have 4 boxes of papers and projects from my kids when they were in grade school......they are 25 and 28 now...oh well its a great feeling to clean outicon_biggrin.gif

I'm a packrat. I can't give up my junk unless it gets ruined...
