So... Im sitting here going through music for a show tonight (Pyramid II in columbus, ohio). I've had a request for the bull whip (indeed the pics in my profile with the whip were taken at Pyramid).

I'm thinking about dancing to "Smithereens" from the new Annie Lennox album, and maybe "Tainted Love" as done by Marilyn Manson with the whip.

My question: If you were a stripper, what songs would you want to dance to?

I might steal some ideas, so don't get man, k. icon_cool.gif

The couple times that I have stripped have been to either Mickey Avalon - My Dick (lol, its funny song), or NIN - Closer

I don't have the compulsion to strip often (if at all), but if I did...

    Cherry Pie, by Warrant
    or
Pour Some Sugar On Me, by Def Leppard

"I'm hot, sticky sweet, from my head to my feet, yeah."

    Ah, so many...

"Get Me Bodied" by Beyonce (Timbaland remix ft. Voltio)(guarenteed to bring some $$$ and some hard ones if you can keep the energy up for the 6min, lol!)

"Show Me What U Got" by Jay Z (VERY good energy!)

"Deeper" by NIN (a bit slow but good for "slow peel" shows, heh)

Of course, that's what I'd strip to IF I were...which I'm not, most weeks. icon_smile.gif

I saw somebody strip at a gay club once to "You Think You're a Man".... didn't Divine do that one?

It was playfully raunchy, but I couldn't see it with the whip.

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Suck my Kiss
NIN - Closer (although, along with Cherry Pie, this song is really over done... as good as it is to strip to)
Salt 'N Peppa - What a Man (My DJ friend played this for me in the underwear contest I entered into last week. Crowd loved it)

And Manson's dance songs are always a good pick.

Oh, and Cyndi Laupers "She Bop"

"This is Hardcore" by Pulp, it is a sexy song in the spirit of seventies swinger lounge.
I am sure you can buy it on i*tunes. Trust me that if you danced to this song, no one would forget it! So sexy.

With a whip? Hmm... working it sinuously and enticingly slow... with syncopated cracks of the rawhide to titillate the front row...

Il Buono, Il Brutto, Il Cattivo (The Good, The Bad & The Ugly) - Ennio Morricone 1966

Got any western boots with spurs, Rocco?

Someone already mentioned my personal favorite ...

'Pour Some Sugar On Me' by Def Leopard. I'd break out the baby oil, spin around on the pole and work it like the rent check is late ... *shifts eyes*.

    "Dry" by PJ Harvey

That song was MADE to strip by... working in the bullwhip, would be tricky but I think you can.

I would have to have "In the Morning" by Juniorboys, "Pour Some Sugar On Me", somthing new age like "Center of the Sun" chilled out remix by Conjure One, "Automatic" by Ultra Nate, "faggoy attention", "Out of My Head" by Mobile, "Touch It" by Monifath, and a few others. Yeah I wish I had the body and moves because I think I'd be very very good. I like showing off I guess. icon_biggrin.gif

WWWWOOOOOOWWWWWW Those are some GREAT ideas!!!! And insightful to. Interesting to see what you guys would dance to.

I ended up dancing to "Cold" by Annie Lennox, cause... well... it was cold!

And "Break The Ice" a new Britney track. There's a major break down in the song and i brought that whip out and cracked the hell outta that bitch!

"Pour Some Sugar On Me" has been done around here a MILLION times. I'm not a Janet fan in the least... though i will dance to "Pleasure Principal" on occasion.

I have done "Closer" and "Hand That Feeds You". I usually do a lot of hip hop and rock, normally it's very commercial music as well. Every now and again i will bust out some Enigma or Delerium and really through the boys for a loop. Something about monks chanting and contorting into highly sexualized, but creepy, positions...

PS Scrolling through here... i must say... i'd be more than pleased to share the stage with any number of you!!!!! Webinfront... you are my HERO for putting Siouxsie up in that mix!

"I Know What Boys Want" by the Waitresses, one-hit wonder from the 80s.
