Yeah the subject is pretty simple.. It happens to me pretty often.. and i really hate it..

there is this hot guy in the gym.. but i'm 100% sure that he's totally straigt.. which makes me damn sad.. also heard that he has a girlfriend.. i mean i cannot go over to him.. "hey bro.. i'm bi.. and i have a crush on you.."

after telling them you're gay or bi.. these people think you're sooo horny.. that you wanna jump on them.. having sex etc..

so sometimes i think that life is pretty unfair.. finding the right one.. who isn't even gay.. icon_sad.gif

Can't even look at his face.. i mean he'd never think that i'm bisexuall, but working out in the same gym makes things harder.. and he knows that he's damn hot!

Damn.. again one hot guy who is straight!

It sucks but it happens, its rare to find a good looking guy at the gym who's gay (unless they REALLY come off as it). But that's life at the gym, lol.

happens all the time. especially at work. ah well, such is life. It's the whole "want what you can't have" mentality.

I use to. When I was young and immature. But now, I am more in control of my feeling. Straight guys are off limit. Unreacheable star beyond this planet. There so many handsome, goodlooking , muscular and sexy gay/bisexual guys, why waste time and effort on somebody that will never return your affection?

Further more I also dont want to embrassed myself and making fool of my self. If he really straight no amount of seduction can change him to be gay. So why bother.

Straight guys have a loack of self-awareness that can make them puppy dog cute, and make you think that they are sweeter than they really are. There's a reason why women are so full of complaints about them. Hell, Oprah has built a cottage industry around them! Don't be wooed by the charm that he reserves for buddies because that isn't the same fella girls (or guys if that should be the case) are getting.

    All the time.

But then I realized that the biggest part of the reason I keep crushing on straight guys is because, frankly, that's so much easier. I don't have to take any risks if I crush on straight guys, because I know they're off limits. Way easier than actually putting myself out there.

But that's my own personal problem; I'm not implying you are doing the same thing (unless you are).

Actually I've found two Mr. Rights but both were straight icon_sad.gif. And it wasn't just a crush. When I first met them I wasn't attracted to either of them, then over the course of over a year (not the same year, these are different time periods) I developed feelings for them because they were genuinly great people. It sucked a lot

High school... cute soccer player, gorgeous blue eyes and a great smile.

What made it worse is he was always really nice to me.

fantasies are fun too. they get me through the day. i have several 'boyfriends' on my dreary train journey to work. and some of the security guards and engineers at work are too much, strutting around like they own the place. sometimes i can barely concentrate on my realjock when there is guy up a ladder next to me fixing the air con. 'hand me that wrench mate?'icon_lol.gif

I used to have a major cruch on what is now one of my best and oldest friends. We kissed once, in a pool, when we were sixteen and completely drunk. He teased me about it for years.
Now that I am the out homo and he is the married father I tease him about it. In public. At incovenient moments.

I had a crush on my boss for the longest time before I came out. He was a tall redhead with broad shoulders and a baseball player's ass. Married, three kids, lovely wife who I always enjoyed talking to. When he told me that he realized that his getting any action at home was really charity on her part after a long day raising children, I wanted to volunteer to bridge the gap. Sigh, memories.

Probably my most destructive 3 years--didn't want to date just in case he decided that he was gay after all. Had to completely give up the friendship after that since "it" wasn't going to happen and I wasn't happy being miserable. How is this post for a downer?

I had a 4 year crush on a friend in university. After I came out and started meeting gay guys the straight crushes ended. Decided I did not want to waste my time.

When I was 18 I had a crush on a neighbor who was a year or two older. It was pretty odd.. having a crush on this guy and convincing myself it was all typical (in the life of a heterosexual guy). It was a summer thing, but I was always wanting to know what he was doing. Kind of intrusive now that I think of it.
Fortunately he never knew and when I saw him some years later, I remember thinking, "How could that have ever happened"??icon_rolleyes.gif

I don't know if it was a crush, but there was a guy in school that I liked, but he used to bully me. Well I guess it is possible to have a crush on an asshole.

Then there were the sill ones, like actors on tv. Some of the programs I never even liked, but I would watch just because I had a crush on the actor. One particular guy, I had such a crush on (now please don't laugh) I looked for his email and I got an email address (not sure if it was his) but I sent an email to him. Never got a replyicon_cry.gif I know, I know, Sick, but that's what a crush can do to you.

It has to be very tough to have a crush on a straight friend. I mean it has to be heart breaking. Would you tell him?

High School. He was about 5'7", BUILT, extremely sexual, and extremely straight. A wrestler, among other things. Used to talk about his ideal life: eat, sleep, lift, fuck. He'd do that while lying on the ground with his head in his girlfriend's lap and his basket, in tight jeans, mounded up and obviously in need of attention.

Saw a pic of him at a class reunion about 2 years ago. STILL built, STILL hot, and, unfortunately, still straight.

Thank you, Dennis, wherever you are.

Ha I know a guy that I thought was totally cocky and actually he's told me that he only is able to flirt with a girl at work because he's helping out with an outfit but cant or wont do it at a club because he doesnt have the confidence to do it. Im like are you serious. He is a good looking guy. Not my type but he isnt hidious either. It just opened my eyes to straight guys.

    OOOOhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yeah. Sighhhhhhh.

Been there, done that. First one was before I even realized I was gay... way back in HS. A crush on a Student PE Teacher / Coach.

Still didn't know I was gay - actually probably didn't even know what 'gay' was. Someone should have bought me a CLUE. icon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

Ran into him several years later - happily married with thre kids. Still very HOT though - GREAT looking ass.

Unattainable guys are exactly that ....so why try to lower your self esteem by confirming your doubts and being rejected?, However there is no harm in being inquisitive as they might just be a straight acting gay guy like myself. Try being sombodys buddy before putting the moves on them is my advice, .....either that or spend your life confined to gay bars!icon_sad.gif

Funk that! I;m sick of gay bars already. I have yet to find or meet a guy that Id actually be serious with and Im not down with hooking up which is usually all they want. Bah... why is it so hard to find the good guys and where do you look? The one I want bah... I need to be understanding with him though. He wants me but bah... this is just really slow for me. Like molases slow.

Honestly, never, but I've never had more than a couple of crushes on gay men, either. Both occurred during tumultuous periods in my life and I think functioned as distractions.

A crush feels like mental illness to me.

Yes, and it resulted in a restraining order of sorts. For the rest of my life I can't ever go near him. Any contact will result in my arrest. It wasn't an official restraining order (we were teens at the time). However, when I stumbled across his business online and ask if it was the same person I received a letter from the police department.

having a crush on a straight guy is one of the worst things a gay guy could face ever
i had a HUGE one on one of my straight friends
i managed to get over him, which was very hard, it was one of worst times.
