I saw Final Destination 3D today. I have to agree with AKA_B1GK that it is cut and paste. I mean, damn, it is so formulaic. That is a whole different discussion.

But since it was number 1, I am sure that there will be a part 5. My question is: what will be the theme of death? The first one was an airplane, the second one a car pile up, the third one a roller coaster, and this one at a race track. I am thinking they will take it to Europe and put it around the Eurorail.

I wish they would try to make it more interesting in each iteration, like build upon the story of the original and how death operates behind the scenes through every day events. The first one was the best imo because it tried to put a story to the idea of how death goes about killing people. The series has just degenerated to making death scenes though with no real point except the death scenes themselves for the gore or shock value icon_sad.gif.

I'm betting on a ski lift or a cable car!

I don't think there will be a 5th. That's why it's called "The Final Destination."

This movie should have stopped producing sequels but everyone goes to see them nonetheless (including myself!)..

But if they HAD to make another I vote for an elevator death scene.

This movie sucked! Idk why everyone else is so into it. I saw it Friday and it was bleh. They've literally ran out of ways to kill those people. Seriously.

Just thought I would throw this out there.

There is a final destination 5 coming out. August 2011. Read it online.

Now i heard two different stories....

It's either going to be a suspension bridge collapses or a cruise ship.

(I vote the cruise ship; I would just like to see exactly how they will get there asses off of it)

If it's on a cruise ship...it would be more interesting to view. (I also saw the movie poster of it being on a cruise ship)

Cruise ship doesn't seem like it'd work, the ratio of killed/survived would be way off. If they did something on a cruise ship it just seems like they'd have to kill off everyone on the ship (thousands) to a handful of survivors. Unless it was an isolated incident on only one part of the ship, in which case that seems kinda dumb "OMG we were almost on THAT part of the ship!".

cold saidI love how Nadia's body flinches after death. I think about it frequently because it always makes me smile.

Her shoes are awful. I tried to see them as cute and sensible for a day of long walking, but they are dreadful. Thank god her goretastic mutilated corpse allowed me to be distracted from them for a bit.
