In the profiles, there is a section for Sports I Like. To me, there is a big difference between sitting a home on a couch watching someone else on TV play a sport vs. actually going outside and doing that sport myself.
In my profile, I list only sports I actually do. Should there be a second category for Sports I Do ?
A while back, I was talking to a friend who said he was big into sports. I asked him what sports he played. He paused and seemed surprised at the question. He did not actually participate in any sports or activities. He just liked to watch others playing sports on TV. I would not consider him a jock.

I don't really enjoy watching sports on television. The occasional live event can be fun, but I don't really get the obsessive sports fans I see who go nuts over football/baseball/etc. yet never seem to even step into a gym let alone take a jog or attempt a sport themselves.

Sports I like tend to be the same sports I do. I'm pretty picky and don't like many sports, so the ones I'm willing to watch either enthrall me (e.g., gymnastics) or I enjoy playing (e.g., volleyball).

I agree - add a "Sports I do" section - I'm sick of people assuming I do everything I enjoy watching.

And this is why I left that section blank.

Alternatively, you can just list the sports you "do" and the sports you "like" in your About Me section.
