    Are you guys already shopping?

About this time of year I begin to listen closely to friends, family, and business associates who say something like, "I've always wanted one of those" or "What I would do to have one of those."

I overheard one of those today. Woo Hoo!! I stopped before getting home and bought it. Now it's in the Christmas Present Closet waiting on wrapping.

Christmas means seven hours of daylight where I live. I'm not looking forward to the sun going down at 4:00 in the afternoon. The only thing worse is that Paul McCartney Christmas song.

On the other hand, I do like fruitcake.

The only good thing about christmas is the seasonal employment.

    Here's hoping I land a job.

It's never too early to start. I like to get it out of the way early, so I can buy tons of stuff for myself closer to the holiday, when everything is on sale.

Wow...that's great. Your friends/family are lucky to have such a thoughtful gift-giver! I try to do the same thing. And it takes the stress/headache out of the madness of the holiday shopping season/rush. Much nicer to just kick back and enjoy the Christmas season.

I already started shopping...... I had purchased a couple of gifts during the after Christmas sale last year.... and have them wrapped. One of the gifts is for my bf.... that one I still remember what it is. I've forgotten in the past when I shop so early

Come on now. You know as well as I do that the stores, malls and all other holiday shopping entities will have everything secular and holy for sale in the aisles long before All Hallows Eve comes along...

I will make my list Thanksgiving evening and begin shopping then. Kind of excited this year since I will have money for it as I am gainfully employed again. Sorry for the repetiveness of that announcement, but after a year of searching, I am excited!!icon_biggrin.gif
