What keeps you up at night?

I travel alot for work and a good bed can be the difference between a good nights sleep or tossing and turning all night. If I have to get up early for a trip I'm excited about, I'm like the kid waiting for Christmas morning. I can't sleep because I'm riddled with excitement!

What keeps you up at night? Work? Relationships? Food? Alcohol? Drugs? Having to Piss? Horniness?

    What keeps me up:

    1. A bad matress.
    2. I eat supper way too late.
    3. I worry intensely, just my nature.
    4. The internet.
    5. My snoring at times.

A lot of things can keep me up late at night
    1) Internet
    2) Movies
    3) A hot man
    4) Friends
    5) Having to Piss - its the worst as I start getting horrible nightmares if I have piss really bad while sleeping.

I typically go to the gym from 9 pm to 11, so I'm pretty hyper until at least 1 am. And if I have coffee after work, that'll keep me up.

If I can't sleep, it's usually because I have some problem on my mind (and that's usually related to work). Otherwise, it's because there is noise, light shining in somewhere, or the pillow is flat.

I only sleep about 4 hours a night, so there isn't much that even helps me to get to sleep.

My body just kind of twitches or itches and will not allow me to settle in.

Lately, it has been compounding stress that will lead to a better life but not without risk.

It's the fear of the risk that is driving me to insomnia and nobody around to discuss different opinions. It's beginning to be too much to handle.

Soon...I tell myself. How do you handle perpetual insomnia and worry without seeking a professional every five minutes?icon_confused.gif

Good answer. I wish drawing was keeping me up but instead it's usually my disappointment that I didn't draw enough today. Ha ha.
