A couple things. "Losing My Religion"-era R.E.M. is not old school R.E.M, and was, in fact, the beacon that foreshadowed the overall decline of the band. Now, I do kind of like Out of Time, but every album before it was much much better.

Reckoning is probably the best R.E.M. album and came out about 7 years before Out of Time:



All that aside, I can't say that I support Colton's choice to make "music." It seems to be more like trashy theatrics and a decent--yet highly studio edited--voice set to a run-of-the-mill dance beat.

He is a very attractive man, I will give him that.

I guess I'm alone in saying it, but I liked it as a club song and think that Ford did a pretty good job considering it was a huge hit for REM. Takes balls and he made it his own. I can see it as cheesy, but I think it works...

You stole the words out of my mouth for that first line. Ford's video and techno dance beat ruined the song.

In an alternate universe, it could be a passable bad club song. But just knowing that it's Colton Ford's voice (which is surprisingly whiny), I can't take it seriously at all.

Why the leather and fishnets? Why the stripping? Didn't he want to be a legitimate musician and leave the porn star behind?

I hope Ford is reading this so he can see that at least some of us think he is a jackass.

Yeah... poor guy... His voice isnt bad, and could be on legit albums, but his videos and music need some work, I guess....

The sad truth is that I'd much rather see Colton Ford naked / doing porn than singing songs, though this is what he supposedly really loves (music etc).
